John Hine
John Hine is a veteran Tai Chi teacher who has been training for over 45 years in Tai Chi and the martial arts, and runs one of the longest established and successful chain of Tai Chi schools in the UK.
He is a founder member of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain (TCUGB), Advanced Instructor, who has served on the TCUGB technical committee.
He is a qualified Therapist and Coach who, through his one to one consultations and seminars, has helped thousands of people to achieve happy and successful lives.
He is trained in Hypnosis/NLP, is a CECO Accredited coach and spent much of his life studying under Buddhist and Taoist teachers. John is also a trained practitioner of Chinese medicine.
John has written and been quoted in health and coaching articles for many national magazines and newspapers including Natural Health, plus The Daily Express, Health & Fitness, Woman & Home, Psychologies and many more.
His psychological based articles on performance at work have appeared in European CEO Magazine, Winning Edge, Business Now, Venture, Women in Banking Finance, and Start Your Business to name but a few.
John trained two Gold medalists and one Silver medalist at the International Open Competition in Newcastle 1995: Mark Gibson attaining a Silver Medal at Yang Tai Chi form and Gold in Pa Kua Chang and Tony Allen Gold Medal Hsing I.
John’s book Yang Tai Chi Chuan has sold over 25,000 copies in English around the world. It is also published in Spanish.
